The 400.4 can be controlled from the free Linkswell DSP app that is available for iPhone and Android – search your app store for “Linkswell DSP” and install the app on your phone. (NOTE: Linkswell DSP10 app is for the 1000.10 amp ONLY)

Once installed, open the app and click “Connect” on the bottom of the home page to connect your device to the Amplifier. When selecting “Connect”, the app will use the devices Bluetooth to search for compatible Amplifier. Locate the device named “LWDSP” and select it.

Input selection

Press the Source name in the upper right corner to change what input the amplifier will use.
* Bluetooth
* Optical
* Coaxial
Bluetooth – When you have Bluetooth selected as your input you can use your phone to stream directly to the amp itself. To connect using your phones Bluetooth menu search for “BT
Audio” and use passcode “1234”. The amplifier will now work like any other Bluetooth device using your phones volume control.

Optical – Uses the TOSLYNK Optical input as the amplifiers source signal.

Coaxial – Uses the external Bluetooth module or Music player as the source signal

Equalizer

In the EQ Settings you are able to adjust the amplifiers 31 Band EQ. You can adjust each channel’s EQ individually by selecting the channel and then adjusting the frequencies.

You can also link the channels into groups of either 2 or 4 and have them share the same EQ settings.

To link channels press and hold on the channel you are actively adjusting.

A menu will pop up asking how you would like to link the channels. The top option will link the Left and right channels, giving you a separate EQ for front and rear. The lower option “Cover All” will link all 4 channels to the same EQ. “Sub” will adjust the EQ on for the subwoofer.

Gain Phase

The Gain option allows you to:
* Lower the gain of a channel
* Raise the gain of a channel
* Mute a channel

It also allows you to invert the phase of the speaker between 0* and 180*

Crossover

In the Crossover Settings you are able to adjust the amplifiers active hi & lo crossovers. You can adjust each channel’s crossover individually by selecting the channel and then adjusting the Hi and Lo pass frequency and the Slope.

Frequency Adjustment – To adjust the Frequency of either the hi or lo pass crossover tap the Frequency (on the left is the lo pass on the right is the hi pass) and enter in the frequency you want to be the cut off

Slope Adjustment – To adjust the slope of either the hi or lo pass crossover tap the icon on the outside of the frequency you just adjusted. You can set your slope to 6dB / 12dB / 18dB /24 dB

You can also link the channels into groups of either 2 or 4 and have them share the same Crossover settings. To link channels press and hold on the channel you are actively adjusting.

The lower option “Cover All” will link all 4 channels to the same Crossover settings. “Sub” will adjust the Subwoofers crossover

Time Alignment

To be sure your ears are getting the optimum signal, the “Digital Time Alignment” allows you to take the distance from each speaker and input that information into the amplifier and the
amplifier will delay the signal of each speaker accordingly. Doing this makes sure your ears are getting the audio signal at the peak of the wave from each speaker.

Each channel can be set with its own time delay and is fully adjustable.

Favorite Presets

Once you have finished setting up your Amplifier’s DSP settings you can save up to 5 different preset favorites.

To save a settings to the amplifier:

1. Press the “Save to Amp Icon” and it will pop up a list of presets.
2. Select which favorite you want to save the settings to and it will save your settings.

You can also save your setting to your phone or tablet.
** You can only save one setting per device **
1. Press “Save to Phone” and a menu will pop up asking you to “Type your value”
2. Name your DSP setting and press ok.

To change between different favorite settings

1. Press the icon with 3 dots in the upper right corner of the apps home page.
2. Select which favorite you would like the amp to upload and use and the amp will adjust the settings automatically.
