The 002-061-C/J kit includes connector covers that protect exposed connectors when the tailgate is removed.
The 002-061-C is for simply capping the exposed connectors on tailgate removal to eliminate debris and corrosion from affecting the factory connectors.
The 002-061-J also incorporates a set of jumpers to eliminate the “Tailgate Ajar” warning on newer trucks with a pushbutton tailgate release/power down. NOT for use on tailgates with “power up” function.
This is a complete kit, but not all connectors may be compatible with some vehicles, as features and wiring can vary.
Bed removal applications such as flatbeds, service bodies, etc. may require reprogramming at the dealer for deleted options such as Blind Spot, Cross Traffic, and Rear Parking Sensor removal/deletion.

***Errors on Blind Spot, Cross Traffic, and Rear Parking Sensor will require dealer reprogramming to remove the options from the truck.***
