If you need to mount the factory GM camera on a service body or box truck on a Chevrolet or GMC 4500/5500/6500 Chassis Cab truck, the GMCCA & GMCCL kits allow you to easily relocate the LVDS OR Analog camera provided by GM.
These housings allow you to use the cameras and harnesses SUPPLIED BY GM WITH THE VEHICLE – NO ADDITIONAL HARNESSES OR ADAPTERS ARE REQUIRED. The kit is available in 4 different configurations that allow for many different mounting options: 0°, 20°, 36° and 45°. Generally, 0° and 20° housings will be suitable for Service Bodies, while 36° and 45° will be suitable for box trucks or other high mount applications.
All housings are made from high strength ABS and are supplied with stainless bolts and brass hardware, insuring long life and serviceability. All housings include drain holes.
NOTE: KIT CONSISTS OF ONE FRONT COVER WITH CAMERA RETAINER AND ONE BASE IN YOUR CHOICE OF ANGLE: 0°/20°/36°/45° – FACTORY CAMERA AND HARNESSES ARE NOT INCLUDED WITH KIT

To determine the correct camera relocation housing, please refer to the table below. Locate your YEAR, then MODEL and RPO code. The RPO code list can be retrieved by scanning the QR code at the rear of the driver door opening.
Note that a “P/U or BOX REMOVAL” is different than a “CHASSIS CAB” because prior to 2025, standard pickups that the bed is removed from have different camera systems than cab chassis trucks. Cab Chassis trucks will have “INCOMPLETE VEHICLE” on the VIN tag.
NOTE: GM CHASSIS CAB TRUCKS ARE TYPICALLY PROVIDED WITH BOTH THE CAMERA AND THE EXTENSION HARNESS THAT ALLOWS YOU TO PLG INTO THE CONNECTORS ON THE TRUCK. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE THE CAMERA CABLE, THE ANALOG CAMERA CABLE CAN BE SOURCED FROM GM – SEE HARNESS PN BELOW)
THE LVDS DIGITAL CAMERA CABLE IS AVAILABLE IN LIGHT DUTY AND HEAVY DUTY VERSIONS FROM ADC MOBILE
IF YOUR CAMERA MATCHES THIS IMAGE, USE PART “GMCCA”

IF YOUR CAMERA MATCHES THIS IMAGE, USE PART 4210 or GMTR19-RU
GM BULLETIN 152P: Mounting of Camera on 2019+ GM Cab Chassis Trucks
The GMCC kit is provided with three parts: Main Housing, Front Cover and Retainer. We also provide stainless 4x12mm and 4x18mm bolts to fasten the retainer to the front cover and the front cover to the main housing. All kits will require you to mount the factory GM camera into the front cover using the retainer that is provided with the kit – you WILL NOT use the retainer provided with the camera.
MOUNTING CAMERA INTO FRONT COVER:
GM ANALOG CAMERA – GMCCA KIT:
Insert the camera into the front cover (it will only go in one way – with the flat portion aligned) and use the two shorter 4x12mm bolts to fasten the retainer to the front cover. NOTE: The flat part of the lens will face UP in the final installation.
GM LVDS CAMERA – GMCCL KIT:
Unscrew the two #1 Phillips screws holding the factory retainer to the camera keeping screws to reuse in new retainer.
Screw the camera using the factory screws into the new retainer as shown using the 4x12mm bolts – the notch will be facing UP in the final installation and the drain hole in the front cover will be facing down:
MOUNTING TO VEHICLE:
Locate the main housing at your preferred location and mark both screw holes and the large center hole. Drill two 1/8″ holes for the mounting screws and a single 3/4″ or 7/8″ hole for the factory connector and cable to pass through the body.
Deburr the hole and to avoid damage to the cable, insure the cable is not touching the body or the screw tips.
If the camera is being mounted on a body where water intrusion is not an issue, no sealant is required.
If the camera is being mounted on a box or service body where water will be an issue, seal the large hole with silicone or butyl rubber/mastic to insure water does not enter the interior.
MOUNTING THE FRONT COVER TO THE MAIN HOUSING:
Use the longer 4x18mm stainless bolts to fasten the front cover to the main housing, being careful not to over torque the bolts.
