When the DVR is powered on (ACC or IGN, or car is running) and the DVR is recording, video files will be recorded to the SD card in 1-minute intervals – so for instance, a one hour span will have 60 individual files – and once the capacity of the SD card has been filled, the oldest recording will be overwritten.
Video files that have been recorded to the device may be downloaded using the app, or the SD card may be removed and files may be copied to your computer.
Video files you want to keep can be “locked” using the app, preventing them being overwritten by new data. We suggest that you copy or archive locked clips as soon as is practical.
