Apple App Store: Search for “Viidure” app

Android – Google Play Store: Search for “Viidure” app or scan QR code below:

WIFI CONNECTION:

• Open Viidure app
• Open Wifi settings on phone
• Select “CARDV-***” wifi hotspot and connect
• Password is “12345678”
• Once connected, exit wifi settings and open app
• (NOTE) Wifi is 2.4 ghz only – 5ghz wifi not supported

PRODUCT LAYOUT:

OPERATION:

POWER BUTTON (5): 

• In recording mode, short press to pause recording
• Long press (>3 seconds) to power off
• In menu, short press to confirm selection
• In wifi menu, short press to cancel connection

CAMERA BUTTON (4):

• While recording, short press to take a  photo
• Long press (>5 seconds) to restore factory settings

RESET (1):

• If DVR stops recording (crashes), short press reset with paper clip

LED INDICATOR LIGHT (2):

• RED LIGHT: Blinks when wifi is connected/solid when wifi is not connected
• BLUE LIGHT: Blinks while recording/solid when recording is paused
• BLUE & RED: Blinks both colors when connected to app and recording

SD CARD SLOT (6):

• Supports 8-128GB (MUST BE CLASS 10 OR HIGHER)

APP OPTIONS:

• Sound Recording: (On/Off)
• Speaker Volume: Off/Low/Med/High
• Loop Recording Options: 1 min. (default)/3 min./5 min.
• Collision Sensing: On/Off
• Parking Monitor Collision Sensing: On/Off

When the DVR is powered on (ACC or IGN, or car is running) and the DVR is recording, video files will be recorded to the SD card in 1-minute intervals – so for instance, a one hour span will have 60 individual files – and once the capacity of the SD card has been filled, the oldest recording will be overwritten.

Video files that have been recorded to the device may be downloaded using the app, or the SD card may be removed and files may be copied to your computer.

Video files you want to keep can be “locked” using the app, preventing them being overwritten by new data. We suggest that you copy or archive locked clips as soon as is practical.

DVR DOES NOT TURN ON:

• Make sure vehicle key is ON either accessory or ignition position (single or double press of vehicle START button)

APP CANNOT CONNECT TO DVR:

• Make sure 2.4 ghz wifi is turned on on the phone – DVR transmits 2.4 ghz wifi signal ONLY
• If you cannot see the DVR’s hotspot, hit RESET (1) with paper clip to restart DVR
• Turn off Blue tooth and mobile data (hotspot) on phone
• Restart phone
• Make sure SD card is fully seated and recording – if not fully seated, remove and reinsert SD card until it locks in place

FORGOT WIFI PASSWORD OR CAN’T FIND WIFI:

• Press and hold the CAMERA button (4) for 5-10 seconds to reset to factory settings
• Once reset, default wifi source is “CARDV-***” – password will be “12345678”

FORMAT SD CARD:

• Open app to recorder settings and hit “Format Memory Card”
• NOTE: Formatting SD card in PC/Mac not recommended

DVR WILL NOT RECORD:

• Make sure the SD card is fully inserted and locked into the slot
• Make sure the SD card is at least a CLASS 10 or higher card
• Format SD card in the app

SET DATE AND TIME OF DVR:

• Connect to app via wifi – date and time are set from phone’s date and time settings

DETERMINE IF DVR IS RECORDING:

• When connected to app via wifi, red and blue LED will blink when DVR is recording
• When not connected to app via wifi, blue LED only will blink when DVR is recording
