Chevrolet & GMC vehicles with MyLink system (excluding Colorado/Canyon):
Press the rear defrost button twice – you will hear one chime and the radio display will prompt you to “Confirm “Off-road use”. Press the “Accept” button to acknowledge “Off-road use”, agreeing that use will be performed only while off-road or only by the passenger when the vehicle is in motion, and activate the GM-HMIUI. Two chimes will acknowledge that the GM-HMIUI is activated. To deactivate the GM-HMIUI, press the rear defroster button twice on the HVAC panel. Three chimes confirms the GM-HMIUI has been deactivated.
Chevrolet Colorado & GMC Canyon:
Press and hold the “SRC” button on the steering wheel for two seconds – you will hear one chime and the radio display will prompt you to “Confirm “Off-road use”. Press the “Accept” button to acknowledge “Off-road use”, agreeing that use will be performed only while off-road or only by the passenger when the vehicle is in motion, and activate the GM-HMIUI. Two chimes will acknowledge that the GM-HMIUI is activated. To deactivate the GM-HMIUI, press and hold the “SRC” button on the steering wheel for two seconds. Three chimes confirms the GM-HMIUI has been deactivated.
