Sirius XM Satellite Tuner (SXV300V1)

Until the SXM update is installed at the factory, Linkswell GEN5 owners will need to download and install a firmware update to allow the use of the SXV300V1 tuner. Please follow the instructions below to do this update:

Generation 5 T-Style USB APP Update

Steps to update the APP:

1. Click the link above and download the .ZIP file
2. Plug a USB into you computer and format it to FAT32
3. Copy the px6-9.0-d.zip file to the root of the USB. (Not in any folders)
4. Turn the vehicle on and allow the radio to boot up
5. Once booted up make sure there are no other devices plugged into any of the radios USB inputs (this includes DVR Camera), then plug the USB drive with the update on it into a USB input attached to the radio.
6. Follow the screen prompts.  A pop up should come up asking if you want to run an update – select YES.
7. Once the update is finished, the screen will flip on its side was with programming data lines and the bottom line should read “Remove Disc….  Update Successful”
8. Remove the USB and let the radio reboot/
9. Once its rebooted, you should have the SiriusXM icon in the home page and lower icons.
10. Open the App.
11. Once opened, it will ask for permission to access parts of the system – be sure to allow all permissions.
12. If you do not already have  SXM account, you will need to sign up for one at www.siriusxm.com and supply the radio ID that came on your tuner. This can be found on the box the tuner came in, on the tuner itself, or on Channel 1. if you have an existing account, you must replace the radio ID on your account with the radio ID on the new tuner.

Once it’s on, the tuner should start updating your subscription and adding channels and artwork.  This may take up to a few hours.
