Personal communications devices have made the use of touch screens second mature to consumers and Advent has added that convenience to our touch screen DVD headrest units – one of many industry firsts from the design team at Advent.
The system includes two factory matched headrests with built-in DVD players with two fold-flat wireless headphones to help reduce in-car clutter. The unique two-in-one remote control and game controller lets the user control the DVD system as well as the games with only one control.
The Graphical User Interface (GUI) has been juiced and is in tune with consumer preferences in software like bold fisheye graphics and color-coded icons to make setup and operation a breeze…and it comes complete with 30 pre-loaded games. It’s not only easy to use; it has a high cool factor.

Advent 10″ Overhead Monitor Only
The Advent ADV-M10 PFR/SFR (Gray/Tan) is a 10″ monitor only that is a cost-effective rear entertainment system that can be used as a stand-alone system or as an add-on for any one of our navigation or A/V decks that include rear entertainment video outputs. We can also add a video iPod/iPhone cable, allowing all video content on the iPod/iPhone to play on the monitor while the charging the device, making this the perfect choice for budget conscious buyers!
The ADV-M10 comes with three different source options: an AUX input for direct plug in of a video source, an A/V input for hard-wiring a video source (or iPod video cable), and even a USB input for playback of digital audio and video files! It features a built-in dome light, two wireless headphones, remote control, and a sixteen channel FM modulator. The only thing it doesn’t have is a DVD!
This monitor can be used a number of different ways:
- use as a rear entertainment add-on to our aftermarket navigation systems (allows Mom & Dad to control the source for rear seat passengers)
- use as a stand-alone monitor using the USB or A/V jack for source video (using USB memory stick, Zune or other media player)
- wire an iPod video cable that charges and allows playback of all video contained on the iPod or iPhone
- wire a game console and inverter for DVD playback and game play
